Dr. Linda Nguyen was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario.  She graduated from the University of Waterloo with honors in Biomedical Sciences. Wanting to escape the Canadian winters, Dr. Nguyen attended Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Florida, where she obtained her optometry degree with high distinction and a bachelor’s in Vision Science. She was also recognized for her clinical skills in patient care and dry eye management and received the Beaver-Visitec International Dry Eye Award. During her final year of study, she completed an extensive ocular disease rotation at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.  Dr. Nguyen had the opportunity to work alongside some of the top ophthalmology specialists, and engaged in the most innovative care and research available for rare ocular conditions.

Dr. Nguyen has practiced in many different modalities as a therapeutic optometrist. She enjoys practicing full scope optometry with an emphasis on ocular disease and dry eye management. She also has experience co-managing patients for refractive surgery such as LASIK and PRK, cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Nguyen is passionate about providing personalized and comprehensive care that goes beyond correcting vision. She loves connecting with her patients and is dedicated in helping her patients maintain good visual and ocular health.

Outside of the office, you can catch Dr. Nguyen hiking, spending time with her labradoodle Putter or traveling. She is also a big foodie and loves trying the next best restaurant in the GTA.
